We have been really enjoying this product because it helps food prep time immensely. Grating cheese, chopping up carrots or cucumbers for salad, slicing potatoes, etc. it seems to do very well. Assembly is quick and easy and disassembly for clean up and storage is just as fast. We had a handheld rotary grater before that would get bits of food caught in the mechanism until one day we couldn't open it (without breaking the plastic) to clean it so in the trash it went. This unit is angled so the food never gets near the base where it could gunk everything up. Additionally, the three different grater wheels make it very versatile.
After reading several reviews on different brands, I ordered this ~ it seemed to have consistently favorable reviews. I am very happy with this shredder/grater/slicer. It is very easy to assemble. Holds a good suction to my granite countertop and most importantly: super easy to clean. It works just as described. So far I have grated cheese (of course-the main reason I bought it); 'sliced' cheese with the slicer blade -very very thin slices, perfect for melting; sliced celery & carrots both; and super fun & easy > 'chopped' pecans with the coarse grating tumbler. I wouldn't have thought of grating nuts but I saw it done on a youtube video and decided to give it a try. As you can see in the photo - perfect! W-a-y easier than even getting out my mini electric chopper/processor. This little gadget is amazing!! I highly recommend this brand, good quality. I just love it!
I absolutely love this little thing. It was super easy to assemble and use. Before I got this, I was making my hash brown potatoes by running the potatoes through a zoodle cutter, then chopping up the potato strings into smaller pieces before putting them in the skillet. But with this, I don't have to go through all that trouble.
I LOVE this little sucker! I'm not much of a cook, generally but my daughter loves Mac & Cheese so I told her I'd make homemade for 14 people (her high school v-ball team). I knew I needed to use extra-sharp cheddar for the best taste and that I could not find it in a store near me already grated. I don't have a food processor (I have a small house with little storage so try not to buy gadgets) and knew I had a few days so ordered this pretty little gem. I will tell you this: It was worth the money! It worked like a charm! Sure the cheese gets a bit gummed up in the barrel after awhile but just take a spoon and loosen it then crank the handle around and it all comes out. Would have bought it years ago if I had known about it.
Great product. Good quality, fast shipment. Super easy to assemble, use, and clean. Changing my review to 1 star. Loved it when I first received it. Within a month, just after the return window ended, it broke in two places. but the company promptly sent a replacement that hasn't had any problems.
